Movie List

There are so many I want to see I need to make a list.

At the movies:
Russian Dolls - so disappointing. L'Auberge Espagnole is one of my favourite movies and this, with it's poor, disjointed script and confused characters, had nothing to do with it.
Broken Flowers
Brokeback Mountain
Walk The Line
Shopgirl
Mrs Henderson Presents
Capote
A History of Violence
The Aristocrats
Rize

Wait for the DVD:
Good Night, and Good Luck
The Constant Gardener
Domino
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
Look Both Ways

I think Keira Knightly (sp) will really annoy me playing that character of Domino. She seems way to glamorous in the role. But I would like to see it

I thought so too so that's why it's on my DVD list.

Skip "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang", unless there's nothing else....I saw it at the theater (when I really wanted to see Shopgirl. Grrr) and almost fell asleep, I loathed it so.

Russian Dolls was disappointing? *sigh* I saw it advertised in the paper on the weekend, and it sounded good. Was going to add it to my list of movies to see until I read your review. Maybe on DVD.

It was beyond disappointing. You saw The Spanish Apartment at my place so you can imagine how I was looking forward to it. I wouldn't even recommend it on DVD, and I've completely erased it from my memory. Even delicious Romain Duris couldn't sway me.

Julia,

I'm so happy to hear someone didn't like Les Poupées Russes (title in French) either. I, like you, absoultely loved L'Auberge Espagnole and couldn't wait to see the sequel, but it was horrible. None of my French friends agree however, so maybe there was something "Lost in Translation".

And Michael, I'm so happy to hear someone agreeing with me. The audience loved it! I pretty much hated it. Luckily I haven't let it affect how I view L'Auberge Espagnole, as the two are just so different.
