Amidst a bevy of excited Australians booking their flights after this morning's World Cup draw (how good was it! Like a glam Powerball draw!) I managed to snag one of the last remaining Sydney-Europe flights and the last Europe-Australia return flight in all of July. Yep, the last.

11 June, 2006: Sydney-London-Stuttgart (France vs Switzerland on 13 June)
5 July, 2006: London-Tokyo-Sydney

I'm not usually a big sports fan but I'm a HUGE World Cup fan because it's so international. I'm jealous!!

That is very exciting. Can't wait to read your blog reports on the World Cup (you will be updating your blog while over there, won't you? Just the occassional post to make us green with envy)

Me neither, but I love football, especially international matches, and attending the World Cup has always been a dream of mine.

I will definitely be updating - your official WC06 correspondant!
