Oh Come All Ye Faithful
I almost bought a $50 candle yesterday. This is what Christmas does to you.
(Interestingly, I googled "oh come all ye faithful" for this post. It took me to this site. I thought it might be some English church initiative to get people to come back to the house of worship. You know, a bit of Flash interactivity, celebrity endorsements and a competition page. Instead, it's an ad by Ann Summers for the Christmas Rabbit. Amen!)

$50 for a candle??? Why oh why would someone spend that much on a candle? Oh the insanity of Christmas!
Exactly. You start justifying it to yourself. "Oh, 35 hours burning time. Well that's only $1-something per hour. That's reasonable". And then when the perky salesgirl walks away you snap out of it and think "you idiot, that's still $50 for a lump of wax!"
The $50 candles are what you let other people buy for you.
Haha well I did provide the link, if any of you come into serious money before next Sunday ;-)
the scent sounds lovely...and Thai honeysuckle nonetheless...you know i love that! (not that I am trying to convince you to buy it..;) and i agree with vanessa...would be a great gift!
