Merry Christmas

"I totally don't mind if you bring someone to the Christmas party. I want you to know that".
"If you were bringing someone I just wouldn't go to the Christmas party".
"But we're adults."
"I could be the biggest adult in the world and I still wouldn't react differently".

I wish we could just say what we feel and it would be the same thing.

Actually no scrub that, I'm sure we are capable of saying it, we're just not capable of making it happen.
