One Week Before Summer
1. Place massive alcohol order at Dan Murphy's.
2. Start contemplating what to cook for what will be the smallest Christmas to date: two (mum and I).
3. Order gifts and personal summer reading from Amazon.
4. Check cocktail sites for ideas on what to do with #1.
5. Wake up in the morning and smile when the weather report says Sydney - 33 and sunny.
6. Realise that next time it will be summer you will be in Ibiza!

Ooh good link - Chambord on the rocks is one of my favourite tipples! (But so hard to come by). I love the bottle too. Think I will be trying the Chambord Mimosa.
I hope you don't mind that I surfed in from somewhere or other. I hope your Christmas with Mom is a good one. Sometimes (often actually), the smallest get-togethers turn out to be the most rewarding, because you have the opportunity to spend real quality time with one person.

i'd normally be loving this weather...but there's a big fire up near the farm, the road is already closed and I took our water pump in to get serviced last week:-(

Seeing its just you and your Mum, you should play some drinking games on Christmas day. That should liven things up.
