Culture Shock
A week ago in Paris...
Last night at the roast and trivia night at my ex-local RSL. $7 for chicken schnitzel and roast vegies (superb roast tatters BTW). The meat tray raffle which I thought we'd be walking away with a roast or at least the breakfast tray over each shoulder. Alas, nothing. More tickets next week.
This morning, making paper airplanes.

I friggin love the raffles at the local R-ey. Do you have the swipey card thingo, where you just win shit by swiping your card?
I won an iron press last week. I was stoked!
My friend won a Foccacia maker, it was a grand night all around.
I haven't swiped a card since my Star City days...but you have hit gold with your R-ey - don't ever move!
My local R-ey is actually *whispers* City RSL, but it's to be avoided, unless you're really skint ($4 vodka tonics).
We stopped at the Macquarie Arms at Windsor on the way to the farm on Friday night for a couple of beers and the meat tray raffle. Didn't win it though.
